How do you become a Christian, a follower of Christ?
These requirements are laid out by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. The book of Acts traces the history of the early church, including how people came to be follower of Christ Jesus. Some of those accounts are found in Acts 2 (those in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost), Acts 8 (the Samaritans and the Ethiopian), Acts 9, 22 and 26 (Saul of Tarsus), Acts 10 and 11 (Cornelius), and Acts 16 (Lydia and the jailor). The following items are a summation of what people did in the first century to become followers of Jesus, Christians.
